Posting events to the Calendar is easy.
Click on the Calendar link near the top of the page. On this page you will find a "New Event" link near the top right hand corner of the calendar, click it.
Now you are taken to a new posting page.
Enter a brief name for the event and select the date from the drop down list.
Create a detailed post about the event with all the juicy details. Use a similar title for this post as users will be able to see this post from the calendar but also as if it were a normal posting. Submit the post and you are done.
Now if you go back and view the calendar, you will see that your event links to your post.
