Physical (1981)1. Landslide 2. Stranger's Touch 3. Make A Move On Me 4. Falling 5. Love Make Me Strong 6. Physical 7. Silvery Rain 8. Carried Away 9. Recovery 10. PromiseNot exactly a brand new CD, but it's an alltime classic and one of the 80's best albums. Olivia was quite worried about releasing this album, thinking 'bout what her fans would think about it. Before she recorded 'Physical' she was doing a lot of country, and some soft rock. In 1974, she won the Country Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year award, beating out such country heavyweights as Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Anne Murray and Tanya Tucker. However, with this album - and especially the first single Physical - she succeeded to both keep her old fans, and also capture a whole lot of new ones. Physical stayed at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for ten weeks. I just love this album. Olivia Newton-John has done a lot of great music, but this is probably her best album. I guess for those who was around in the 80's, this album isn't very exciting. But maybe it can wake up a lot of good memories, then?

Hi Ewas, I bought this album on CD a few years ago. It's great. The only other Olivia Newton-John items I have in my collection consist of the following: PHYSICAL - Laserdisc (1981)Contains all the videos from the album and more. Video Gold - Vol 1, Vol 2 (2005) XANADU - Original Soundtrack CD (Sony 1998)

Hey Lea! I LOVE ONJ, think she's great and talented as an actress and a singer. Actually I reasently orderer Video Gold I & II, and looking forward to get it! The video to Physical is just about one of the best videos ever done Have you seen the motion picture Xanadu too? I got it on DVD a couple of months ago, but besides ONJ, it's a pretty lousy movie. I mean, the music's great and Olivia is OK as one of the leading roles, however the dude who playes her darling really SUCKS as an actor. d**n it, he kills the whole movie. And it's a little bit sad that Xanadu got to be the gifted Gene Kelly's last movie; I think he deserved a better ending for his great actor career than that. Olivia has done a handfull movies, and I posess four of 'em. Maybe you've heard about Two Of A Kind (her 1983 follow-up to Grease)? Obviously it was a flop, but I love it! The soundtrack kicks ass! Grease is of course her most popular movie and a classic. Which career of hers do you like best? The Physical-kind or the country-kind? I think it's great to find somebody else who's also a fan of ONJ! /Jocke
