I haven't got any Julie London albums, so today I thought I'd order a couple CDs of amazon. I ordered Julie Is Her Name and a twofer Julie/Love On The Rocks. They seem like good choices to start off with so I thought I'd give them a listen. If I like these then I may buy more later. Is anyone here more familiar with Julie London?

Found her 1969 album Yummy Yummy Yummy going cheap, so I ordered that one too.

The More 4 channel has recently shown "The Girl Can't Help It" twice. The film was made in 56 with many r&r singers of the day (Eddie Cochran/Gene Vincent/Fats Domino) and also featured Julie London singing "Cry me a river". One of my all time favourite songs and film clips. Although I have a couple of Julie London LP's i can't say that I'm a fan.

Hi Ed, the CDs I ordered have recently arrived and I love them. The Julie/Love on The Rocks Lps are my favourites and I can play them over and over. I love the song "Midnight Sun". The Yummy Yummy Yummy album has a great cover of "Light My fire". Next I will order the EMI twofer, Calendar Girl/Your Number Please.

Anyone unlucky enough to watch The Horror Channel on Sunday 6th August at 3pm. A film called "The Red House" made in 1947 co-starring Julie London. She looked about 16 or 17.
Tonal records (phone 01904 612379) are advertising a Julie London 3xcd set called "Ultimate collection 55-67 for £10. Ed

Hi Ed,
I got most the CDs now, all the albums that have been released officially on CD so far. About 18 albums in all.
There are still about 10 not yet issued on CD.
